The Eskdale valley is an old glacial valley that is perfectly situated for visiting the Lakes. Within easy reach is Scafell (England’s highest mountain) and the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway.

Accommodation

Families and groups are welcome at the Woolpack. We are a part of the Greendoor Group which means we have access to even more accommodation, including corporate stays and even events.

Bar & Café

The Café sits alongside the Inn, at the top of the Eskdale Valley. Warm food and cold beers are served each day and we even have our own pizza oven. More about the Café >

Get prepared

Being as remote as we are, you’ll want to make sure you download directions on your Google Maps. We’ll send you an information pack which you can save to your phone or print off. This way, if you can’t get a signal, you’ll still have all the information you’ll need.
